BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEER HOLDER !!!!

Untitled

As you will notice there is a link to the Sealed Knot on our website, this is because I am a member of Sir Nicholas Slannings Regt. of Foot of the Sealed Knot, we meet every Wednesday night in the Providence Inn, Providence St.Plymouth, or you can contact me if you are interested in what we do.

The latest edition of S.W. SIBA's Brewers Herald is now in circulation, if you can't find it in you local it is probably because they are not supplied by a SIBA member, get onto your landlord to change this.

Don't forget to look at the Guest Beer page to see what is available and where .

Congratulations are in order to the FAWN PRIVATE MEMBERS CLUB on becoming Plymouth CAMRA's Club of the Year for the second time.

QUOTES We get silly comments all the time, things like The fishcakes are too fishy , but the best recently was a customer who said they could not have the beef tomato because they were vegetarian Dave Colton, The Manager, The Ship, Noss Mayo

GOOD NEWS, for all our fans in Yealmpton, due to new tenants in the Volunteer, we are now supplying HOPSCOTCH in the village.

We have gained another outlet on the Barbican, that lovely jewel tucked away in the back, The Commercial, far from the madding crowd. Check for it's unusual opening hours but worth finding for the peace and quiet.

The FAWN PRIVATE MEMBERS CLUB now sells Thatchers Cider, if you would like to drink some contact Mike, Angie or Ian on Plymouth 660540 and ask for details of Membership.

Good news for when you visit the Barbican, try the MARITIME which can be entered from Southside St. or The Parade, our beers are always available, "another good outlet on the quay". IT HAS ALSO BEEN WON THE PLYMOUTH EVENING HERALD'S PUB OF THE YEAR AWARD

A ONE OFF BEER IS NOW PERMANENT. ISAMBARD KINGDON BRUNEL 1859, was brewed as a one off to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of I.K.B., our theme being the ROYAL ALBERT BRIDGE built in 1859. It has proven so popular that it is now a permanent feature.

We are the local Thatchers Cider agent for Plymouth and are proud to link the traditional craftsmanship of Thatchers to the ethos of Craft Brewing, good wholesome raw materials, no adjuncts, care in production and our products run side by side. Thatchers pioneered the single variatel bottled cider and the newest one to the range in called Oak Conditioned, the cider has been allowed to mature in Oak Barrels previously used to mature rum, this gives a lovely crisp cider flavour with an undertone of rum, well worth seeking out. Trust me I drink cider as well as beer. Talking of cider, Plymouth Argaum R.F.C. have now started selling Thatchers draught in their clubhouse. Thatchers have now launched Pear Cider, it is lovely!!!!!
